Russell leads the mission, family relationships and capital strategy. We are recruiting the qualified people who will run camp day to day. These roles are not yet filled.
Japan Operations & Community Lead
Bilingual Japanese/English leadership for the venue, local partners, permits, logistics and emergency coordination.

Lead age-band activities, outdoor discovery, arts, cooking and teen programmes. Japanese is an asset, not a requirement for every role.

Family communications, meal coordination, arrival support, scheduling and the practical details that make a stay work.

Child safety, health, camp operations, Jewish life, hospitality, Japanese community relationships, legal structure and cross-border finance. Help us make sound decisions in your area of expertise.
A future board seat would be a separate formal appointment, not a benefit of filling in a form.

Introduce families or local partners, support administration, or contribute a defined skill. We will agree a useful scope, supervision and any expenses before work begins.
Volunteers working with children need appropriate screening, training and lawful work arrangements too.

We are looking for a place to own.
A property that can serve the mission
Our leading search is the Nagano highlands and broader Karuizawa corridor. We need suitable family lodging, outdoor space, a capable kitchen, emergency access and a lawful path to camp and year-round hospitality.
Owners, licensed property professionals and local operating partners: we want to discuss suitable sites and the work needed to open them. A 2027 purchase is possible if diligence, approvals and readiness align. Licensed partner lodging remains a contingency.

We are seeking aligned capital partners for property acquisition and the wider community initiative. The next conversation is about fit, operating evidence, ownership, governance and the capital required.
No investment terms are being offered and no funds are being accepted. Any future opportunity requires legal review and proper documents. Property can be illiquid, operating costs can exceed income, and capital can be lost. Ownership does not grant Japanese residency.
