Yui (結い) is a tradition of neighbours doing together what one household cannot do alone. At camp, that becomes one useful, age-appropriate afternoon designed with residents. It is not staged volunteer tourism.
The right site will offer forest, healthcare access, lawful lodging and program space, reliable transport, local support, and the possibility of returning for years. A beautiful view is not enough.
